Murat Torlak gained the M.S. and Ph.D. levels in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, in 1995 and 1999, respectively. Due to the fact August 1999, he has been with the Division of Electrical and Laptop or computer Engineering, The College of Texas at Dallas, where by he has been promoted to the rank of a Comprehensive Professor. He is on leave from UT Dallas to provide as a Rotating Method Director at the U.S. Nationwide Science Basis (NSF) considering the fact that mid 2020. His recent study interests consist of experimental verification of wi-fi networking programs, cognitive radios, millimeter-wave automotive radars, millimeter-wave imaging techniques, and interference mitigation in radio telescopes. He has served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Wi-fi Communications, from 2008 to 2013. He was a Visitor co-Editor of IEEE JSTSP Exclusive Challenge on The latest Advancements in Automotive Radar Sign Processing, 2021. He has also served in a number of IEEE committees and helped to arranged IEEE conferences.
