Britain’s Key Minister Boris Johnson is setting up to lower Chinese telecoms machines maker Huawei Systems Co Ltd’s involvement in Britain’s 5G community in the wake of the coronavirus crisis, the Day by day Telegraph newspaper reported.

Johnson has requested officers to make strategies to lower China’s involvement in British infrastructure to zero by 2023, the newspaper reported late on Friday.

Johnson is expected to use much less reliance on China as a usually means to increase trade talks with US President Donald Trump in the aftermath of Britain’s departure from the European Union, according to the newspaper.
