Michigan Technological College and Northwestern Michigan University (NMC) have formalized
their intent to collaborate on Wonderful Lakes research, with a aim on maritime engineering,
freshwater science and experienced development.
At a signing ceremony held Wednesday, Sept. 16, Michigan Tech President Rick Koubek
and NMC President Nick Nissley observed their shared mission and complementary strengths
in advancing Wonderful Lakes research, as nicely as their purpose to collaborate in acquiring
an internationally regarded centre of excellence in freshwater science and research.
Below a two-yr Memorandum of Being familiar with, the College and NMC agreed to:
